Measuring Potions

We have been learning how to write a recipe and follow instructions lately.  We have recently incorporated some maths into our potions and have been measuring out fractions e.g. 1/4 cup, 1/2 cup and 1/3 cup.  We had to design our own magic potion and plan it, then mixed them up.  It was fascinating what children wrote and made!
